Win a £1,000 prize for the first three chapters of an unpublished historical novel
To enter, send the first three chapters of historical fiction set before 1974. The minimum total wordcount is 1,500 and the maximum, 15,00. Also send an 800-word synopsis.
The winner will receive £1,000 and feedback from the judges, and will be announced at the Gala Dinner of the HNS Conference on 7 September. Nine category winners will each win £500 and an HNS Conference ticket.
The entry fee is £30 for HNS members and £40 for non-members.
