The international contest is accepting entries on any theme
The Frome Festival Short Story Competition is an annual creative writing contest for original, unpublished short fiction between 1,000 and 2,200 words.
The prizes for 2024 are £400, £200 and £100. There are also local first and runner-up prizes for a writers living in a 25-mile radius of Frome Library.
The entry fee is £6 for Early Bird entries up to 31 March, then £8 per story.
