Enter stories between 1,000 and 2,200 words to win a first prize of £400
The annual Frome Festival Short Story Competition is inviting entries of original, unpublished short fiction on any subject between 1,000 and 2,200 words.
The winner will receive £400. There are second and third prizes of £200 and £100, and there will also be local first and scond prizes for writers living with in a 250-mile radius of Frome Library. This year's guest judge is Frome-based author Frances Liardet.
The entry fee is £8 per story.
The closing date is 31 May.
