The new bi-annual international contest has a first prize of £800
The CAS Short Story Competition has been set up by writer Catherine Assheton-Stones. It is inviting entries of original, unpublished short fiction between 2,000 and 4,000 words from writers anywhere in the world.
The first prize is £800, and there are second and third prizes of £400 and £200. The top ten shortlisted stories, including the three winners, will be published online.
The entry fee is £7 per story.
The closing date is 1 July, or when a maximum of 200 entries have been received.
