The new contest is for writing by entrants with a connection to UK Children's Services
A new anthology, In the Blink of an Eye, is to be created, which will connect a poetry anthology created by the staff and residents of Tyson House Children's Home in Bradford in 1993 with new work from 2023. As part of the project, writing workshops will be held at Cartwright Hall in Bradford during August
To enter the competition, send poems up to 40 lines or short stories up to 1,000 words. Entry is free. Each writer may send up to two pieces. There are prizes of book vouchers for the winners.
Entrants must be staff or residents, past or present, with a connection to UK Children's Services.
The closing date is 30 August.
