The winner will get their short story collection published as well as winning a cash prize
The 2015 Alfie Dog Fiction International Short Story Competition is for single, unpublished short stories between 1,000 and 2,000 words in any genre usually carried by Alfie Dog Fiction. The entry fee is the download of five paid-for stories by different authors on the Alfie Dog site.
The winning entry will receive £200 and the publication in ebook and paperback of a short story collection between 35,000 and 40,000 words, with editorial support if necessary. The runner-up prize is a full critique of short stories up to 10,000 words.
The competition closes on 30 September.
