Esk Valley Trains are looking for short stories to be read aloud on journeys
Esk Valley Trains run between Middlesborough and Whitby, and the minimum time between stations is three minutes. They are inviting entries of short stories no longer than 500 words that might enrich a journey.
Winning entries will be read at the Glaisdale Mini-Arts-Fest on 3 June, which is part of the Esk Valley Community Earth Festival.
The entry fee is £6 for the first story and £3 for any subsequent entries.
