Scots are invited to write a love letter to their library for Book Week Scotland
The Love Letter to Your Library campaign asks readers for their messages to their favourite library, where they will be displayed throughout Book Week Scotland between 24 and 30 November.
A template is provided for people to upload their letters. All letters should be addressed to the writer's favourite library and be no more than 1,000 words.
'Libraries are an integral part of communities across the country, providing a hugely important service that can often change the direction of a library user’s life,' said Sophie Moxon, deputy director of Scottish Book Trust. 'Our Love Letters to Libraries campaign will give people a chance to show the full extent of their appreciation for these quiet guardians of the written word.'
