The international competition for literary short stories is back with a £300 first prize
The Willesden Herald Short Story Competition is inviting entries of original, unpublished literary (not genre) stories between 1,000 and 7,000 words.
The winner will receive £300 and a one-off Willesden Herald mug. There are second and third prizes of £200 and £100, and seven runners up will each get £50. All ten winning stories will be published in Willesden Herald: New Short Stories 12. This year's judge is novelist and short story writer Jarred McGinnis.
The entry fee is £5 per story.
