Enter odd, strange and downright peculiar short seasonal fiction
Enter odd, strange and downright peculiar short seasonal fiction
Stories may be up to 350 words, and could be genre stories (ie horror, crime, bizarro) or plain off-kilter, but must relate to Christmas or another winter holiday, ie Yule, Kwanzaa, Solstice, Hannukah. 'Evil Santa' stories are not really encouraged because they made up such a large proportion of last year's entries.
The winning story gets $50 and the runner up $25. Winners and honorable mentions will be published online and read aloud on a podcast.
Entering writers can make an optional donation of $3.
The closing date is 2 November.
