The theme of this year's competition is People and Artificial Intelligence
The Surrey New Writing Prize is inviting entries of original, unpublished short fiction on the theme of People and Artificial Intelligence, between 2,000 and 5,000 words.
The first prize is £1,400 and there are second and third prizes of £400 and £200. The judges are Anna metcalfe, Rowan Hisayo Buchanan and Elizabeth James.
The entry fee is £6.
The closing date is 18 April.
