The annual contest is for writing specially created for digital media
Now in its ninth year, the New Media Writing Prize is an international competition run by Bournemouth University and if:book UK. It's awarded annually for exciting, innovative new interactive storytelling that integrates formats, platforms and digital media.
The if:book UK New Media Writing Prize awards £1,000 for original storytelling written for delivery via a PC, the web or a handheld device (ie tablet or smartphone). Entries may be fiction, non-fiction, narrative game, poetry, documentary or transmedia work. All entries must have an interactive component.
Each entry should include an active URL or clear instructions on how to view the piece.
Entry is free.
The closing date is 27 November.
