The winner of the biennial award will receive $10,000 and publication
The international Fitzcarraldo Edition Novel Prize is given for innovative, imaginative unpublished literary fiction that explores the possibilities of the novel form.
The winner will receive $10,000 and simultaneous publishing in the UK and Ireland by Fitzcarraldo Editions, in Australia and New Zealand by Giramondo and in North America by New Directions.
The award is open to published and unpublished novelists worldwide. All submissions must be original and unpublished. Include a cover letter and a brief outline with the manuscript.
Each writer may enter one manuscript.
The closing date is 1 June.
