The competition for novel writers is for a first page that will hook readers
The competition, from Darling Axe, invites writers working on a novel manuscript to enter a single, double-spaced first page. The entry must be original and unpublished, and the writer unagented.
The winner will receive at least $200. The second placed winner will receive $100, and the third, $50. The top three entries will be published on The Chopping Blog.
The entry fee is £3.50/$5 CAD.
