Win a residency in Berlin in the contest from The Reader Berlin
The Reader Berlin Prize is for original, unpublished short fiction up to 3,000 words on this year's theme, which is 'Escape'.
The winner of the contest will be hosted by Circus Berlin for a three-week writing residency between 2 and 22 January. The resident will have their own apartment, breakfast vouchers, and up to €1,000 in travel costs.
Two runners up wil receive two nights in a double room at Circus Berlin for the prize-giving event in January, and a travel budget up to €100 to cover their journey to Berlin. The winner and runners up will be published in the SAND journal online. A further seven shortlisted writers will win goodie bags.
The entry fee is €10.
The closing date is 31 July.
