The annual international short fiction contest has a first prize of £1,200

Now in its eleventh year, The Bath Short Story Award is given annually for original, unpublished short fiction in any style or genre, up to 2,200 words.

There are first, second and third prizes of £1,200, £300 and £100. The £100 Acorn Award is for an unpublished writer of fiction, and the local prize is £50 of book vouchers, donated by Mr B's Emporium of Books in Bath. This year's judge is Sophie Haydock.

The entry fee is £9 per story.
