Monologues are invited to give voice to four statues across London and Manchester
The competition, from Sing London and Audible.co.uk, is for 400-word monologues written from the perspective of one of the four statues: These are:
• Stan the T-Rex at the Manchester Museum (pictured)
• Isis by the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park, London
• William Shakespeare at the British Library
• The Leaping Hare at Broadgate Circle, Liverpool Street Station, London
The winning pieces will be recorded by well-known actors and included as part of the Talking Statues project.
Entries should be submitted by the closing date of 17 October.
