The competition is for stories sightly longer than flash called 'smokelong' - because they can be read in the time it takes to smoke a cigarette.
The winner will receive £1,000 and there are second and third prizes of £300 and £100. The top ten shortlisted entries will be published in The Plaza Prizes Anthology in summer 2023. The judge is Tara Laskowski.
Enter original, unpublished short fiction in any style or form, with a maximum 1,500 words.
The entry fee is £14 for the first story and £7 for any subsequent entries.
The closing date is 30 November.
