Win $1,000 and publication in the competition judged by Yiyun Li
Enter original, unpublished short fiction no longer than 30 double-spaced pages in 12pt font.
The winner will receive $1,000 and the second-placed winner will receive $500. Both winning entries will be published in Salamander, which is a journal for fiction, poetry and memoirs. All entries will be considered for publication. Award-winning author Yiyun Li will be the final judge.
The contest submission fee of $15 includes a one-year subscription to Salamander.
