Literary fiction up to 30 pages long is invited for the international fiction prize
There is a prize of $1,500 and publication. The final judge is Andre Dubus lll.
All entries must be original and previously unpublished. Submissions open on 1 May and close on 1 June.
Salamander is a non-profit literary organisation affiliated to Suffolk University, Boston, that publishes a biannual magazine of fiction, poetry, memoir and works in translation.
There is a reading fee of $15 per entry (with an extra $10 postage for international entrants), which includes a year's subscription to Salamander.
