Win a €1,000 first prize in the life-writing competition from Fish Publishing
The Fish Short Memoir Prize is inviting entries of short memoir writing up to 4,000 words.
The winner will receive €1,000. There are runner up prizes of online writing courses and €300. The ten best memoirs will be published in the Fish Anthology 2023, and their authors will be invited to read at the launch during the West Cork Literary Festival in July 2023. This year's judge is Sean Lusk.
All entries must be original and unpublished life writing. There is no restriction on theme or style.
The entry fee is €18 for the first and €11 for any subsequent entries.
The closing date is 31 January 2023.
