The brand new award is for creative non-fiction, autofiction, memoir and other true stories
The Edinburgh True Flash Award from Scottish Arts Trust is inviting entries of original, unpublished work up to 250 words.
There is a first prize of £300 and the winner and at least two other highly commended pieces will be published in the 2025 Scottish Arts Trust Story Awards anthology. The judge is Meg Pokrass.
The entry fee is £10 per story.
