The competition is free to enter, and the winner will receive £150 of high street vouchers.
‘I look forward to immersing myself in writing that demands to be shared, to discover poetry and stories where words have conspired with the imagination to convey experience, increase understanding, and communicate feelings that might otherwise never have been known,’
said competition judge Cheryl Moskowitz.
Enter one short story up to 1,000 words, or up to three poems, each no longer than 40 lines.
The closing date to enter the Carers UK creative writing competition is 31 July.
