Win a £300 first prize in the TripFiction competition for stories with a strong sense of location
The TripFiction Sense of Place autumn creative writing competition is for writing where the destination is as vital to the story as the protagonists and the plot.
Entries might be short fiction, travelogues or memoir, and may be set anywhere. The minumum word count is 750 words and the maximum, 3,000. The winning stories will be published on TripFiction's website.
There are prizes of £300/$400, £150/$200 and £50/$67.
The entry fee is £5/£6.
The closing date is 15 November.
