Win a residency at the Circus Hotel in Berlin in the contest for prose fiction and non-fiction
The theme for this year's international Berlin Writing Prize from The Reader Berlin is 'Escape'.
The winner will get a three-week residency at the Circus Hotel in Berlin from 2 to 22 January 2023. This will include an apartment, breakfast vouchers and €100 in travel costs towards their travel to Berlin. Two runners up will get a two nights at at Circus Hotel for the prize-giving event in January, and a travel budget of up to €100. The winners and runners up will have their pieces published on the SAND Journal website. Seven runners up will receive goodie bags.
Enter original, unpublished prose fiction and non-fiction up to 3,000 words on the 'Escape' theme.
The entry fee is €10.
The closing date is 15 August.
