The literary magazine that supports emerging writers is inviting stories up to 5,000 words
Entries may be in any style and on any theme. Shooter is looking for imaginative, beautifully written stories that appeal equally to the head and the heart.
The winner will receive £250 and will be published in Shooter's summer issue and online. The runner up will receive £50 and online publication.
There is an entry fee of £7. All entrants will receive an e-copy of the summer issue of Shooter featuring the winning story.
The closing date to enter the 2017 Shooter Short Story Competition is 16 April.
