The new biennial prize is for work at the intersection of literary and artistic forms
The competition is for published and unpublished authors in the UK and Ireland working with hybrid forms that interrogate the boundaries of established formal, narrative and genre conventions. Work may be text-based but might also extend into other media.
There are two categories: book-length publication (minimum 25,000 words) and short-form publication (approx 3,000 words).
The prizes are £3,000 plus publication by Monitor Books (book length) and £2,000 plus publication by Monitor Books (short form).
All entries must be original and no more than 10% of the manuscript may have been previously published.
The closing date is 1 February.
