Cathy Grimmer, who won our exclusive competition to win a place at the Hearth micro-literary festival, reports on her experience
In October, we ran a competition in association with Gladstone's Library, the UK's only prime-ministerial library, to win a free place at Hearth. Afterwards, winner Cathy (pictured with James Runcie at Hearth) sent us a lovely piece about what was evidently a very successful festival. It's well worth a read, and shows how much a writer can get out of a weekend in such inspiring surroundings!
