Write about something unexpected in this week’s creative writing exercise
Decide what form the surprise takes, and who it happens to. Is is a pleasant surprise, or a nasty one?
How does the person react? If it’s a surprise other people have planned, does it go as expected? Exceed expectations? Fall flat?
Is anyone else involved?

What are the consquences?
Decide whose perspective to write from - someone who has planned a surprise; the person the surprise happened to; a bystander - and write for 15 minutes.
