As the Tour de France comes to Yorkshire this weekend, why not write a bicycle-themed poem or short story?
Kirklees Libraries are holding an On Your Bike writing contest for short stories and poems (up to 500 words) in three age categories: 11 and under, 12-17 and 18+.

There are prizes in each category of book tokens to the value of  £50, £30 and £20.
The free-to-enter On Your Bike competition closes on 11 July, making this the perfect weekend to mark one of the UK's sporting events of the year by writing something related to cycling!
