Arachne Press invites submissions on the festival's theme of Time and Tide
Send stories, poems and songs set in and around the shoreline. Stories with a historical slant are preferred for this submission call. Arachne Press is particularly interested in writing that tells tales of immigration and emigration, and of making a living from or by the sea.
Submissions are welcomed from writers from the LGBT and BAME communities and from writers with disabilities.
Selected stories and poems will be performed at the Solstice Shorts Festival on 21 December and subsequently published in an anthology.
Submissions should be no longer than 2,000 words.
The closing date is 21 June.
