For issue two, IOTA magazine invites writing that explores mind, body and medicine through art, literature and culture
Send short stories, poems, life writing, memoir, travel writing, food writing, and any other kind of creative writing that explores the theme. Fiction and non-fiction submissions may between 500 and 2,000 words, and poets may send up to four poems. For features and essays, send a 75-word pitch.
There is no payment for writers. The closing date is 1 March. For full details, see the website.
• The IOTA Shot Pamphlet Awards for medium-length poetry pamphlets are open to submissions until 29 January. Up to two pamphlets will be published by Templar Poetry. Send between 12 and 16 pages of poetry. The entry fee is £14.50 for postal entries and £15.50 for online entries. For full details see the website.
