The Creative Future Literary Awards are for writers who lack opportunities due to mental health issues, disability, health or social circumstance.
The competition is for poetry up to 200 words and flash fiction up to 300 words responding to the theme of 'important nothings'.
There are cash prizes of £200, £150, 100 and £50 in each category, and writer development prizes including mentoring, creative writing courses, workshops and professional consultations. Winners will be published in an anthology.
Writers may submit one entry in each category. It's free to apply for the Creative Future Literary Awards.
The closing date is 26 June.
