This year's theme is Life As You Know It

For the 2017 National Flash Fiction Day Anthology, send stories up to 500 words inspired by your own experiences. Writers may send up to three pieces, interpreting the theme as they please.

Entries are welcomed nationally and internationally. All entries must be original and unpublished. All writers who are selected for the anthology will receive a print copy.

Authors featured in the 2016 anthology include Angela Readman, Paul McVeigh, Nuala Ní Chonchúir and NFFD director Calum Kerr.

National Flash Fiction Day takes place on 24 June.

The closing date to submit to the 2017 National Flash Fiction Day Anthology is 14 April.
