Six shortlisted writers will be commissioned to write a screenplay
The overall winning script will be produced in full as a single 90-minute television drama with an up-and-coming director and broadcast on Channel 4 in 2015.
Writers with no previous television experience, and writers with a writing credit of less than two programme hours of a series or serial broadcast on UK television are invited to apply.
Writers applying for Coming Up should submit by post two copies of each of: a completed application form; an Equal Oportunities form; a detailed CV, and a writing sample, which should consist of a full-length dramatic script or two short film/play/radio scripts.
The closing date for Coming Up is 3 April.
