Entries are invited of crime fiction by unpublished writers on the theme of 'bad luck and trouble.'
The competition has a first prize of £1,000, a bottle of whisky and a weekend pass for Bloody Scotland. The winning entry will be published on the Bloody Scotland website.
Entries should be no longer than 3,000 words. All entries must be submitted through the dedicated page on the Bloody Scotland website.
The winner wil be announced at Bloody Scotland, which takes place between 13 and 15 September.
The closing date is 28 July.
