Entries of crime stories with an asparagus component are invited for the AsparaWriting Festival competition
All entries must be set in the Vale of Evesham or the Cotswolds, fit in the crime genre – and include asparagus!
Stories may be up to 6,000 words. There are three age categories: 7-11, 12-16 and 16+ (adult). The adult winner will receive £100 and the junior category winners will get a £20 book token. All winners will be published in the AsparaWriting 2014 anthology.
The AsparaWriting Festival (note the pen on the logo!) is running for the first time this year as part of the British Asparagus Festival (23 April to 21 June).
All entries must be received by 29 March.
