The author and adventurer took the £20,000 award for Llama Drama

Llama Drama, Anna's account of a six-month, 5,500-mile cycling odyssey through South America, was chosen as the winner from a record number of entries.

'Anna McNuff’s Llama Drama is simply hilarious,' said Claudia Winkleman, who presented Anna with the award at a virtual ceremony. If anyone is watching and wants something witty and moving at the same time. Also, something empowering then this is the one for them. I literally inhaled it.'

The Kindle Storyteller Award, now in its fourth year, is for authors who publish their book through Kindle Direct Publishing. In addition to the £20,000 cash prize, Anna receives the Golden Kindle Award and her book will have a marketing campaign to support the book on Amazon.
