Eight emerging poets will be offered eight days of intensive poetry development
The selected poets will spend three days at the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival in November, followed by a five-day rural writing retreat led by Michael Laskey and Peter Sansom.
Aldeburgh Eight applicants should have a strong publication track record, which may include magazines, anthologies, pamphlets and possibly a first collection.
Interested poets should send a selection of six poems, publication history, a brief biography, and a brief statement of suitability for the course, preferably by email.
The closing date is 16 May.
