Interpret the theme in any way that appeals to your imagination in this week's creative writing exercise
You might want to write about a serpent in some form - realistic, mythological, fabulous, symbolic.
You might want to describe an encounter with a serpent, or reflect on its presence in some way.
How would you describe the colours and textures of a snake in motion?
You might even write about a piece of serpent jewellery and its signifance.
Equally, you might use the idea of ‘snake’ as a metaphor, and write about a person or even a situation - someone caught up in the coils of circumstance.

Write for 15 minutes in whatever style or form suits your interpretation of the theme.
