The Writers' Circle Scotland is a structured group for those striving for a career in writing. Writing is often a solitary endeavour and at times it can feel very lonely. Especially, if you are struggling with certain aspects of the process. That is where we think we could help. What we offer: In our fortnightly meetings and seminars, Outer Circle members will receive all the advice and feedback needed to improve their skills and gain the confidence needed to succeed. Topics for meetings will include: advice on structure, format, plot, dialogue etc... and overall reader's feedback. We would also offer, proofreading and editing services by special request. Most importantly, we seek to offer our members a chance to be published in our quarterly anthologies. That would mean you could see YOUR work published on a regular basis. In addition, by reading our blog, Outer Circle members will have access to interviews by agents and publishers and receive price

Also, we will interview well known writers in the hopes that our members will benefit from their experiences. Outer circle members, will also be invited to our events and receive information about other writing related events happening in the area.
We are very excited about this venture and hope that in time, our members will come to think of the group as family. We look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
