Manchester Women Writers
Manchester Women Writers is a dynamic group for women writers including those who self identify as women. All women writers are very welcome to come along.
We meet on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm in Manchester Central Library, and our usual meetings consist of a read-around where any member who wishes reads a short piece/extract of work and this is followed by a few minutes discussion and constructive feedback.
We ask for a donation of £2 for the usual weekly meetings.
Every so often we hold workshops or invite guest speakers and most years we hold a writing retreat at a venue in or near to Manchester. At the time of writing we have a number of workshops planned for the next few months. Recent topics include; The Power of the Image, Scriptwriting (on Zoom), Short Story vs Novel Writing and Self Publishing.
