The Star of Wonder by Jenny Cooke

bc3af853-ae28-4cef-8d12-49dff6a12d51

'I wanted to write about Christmas in a different way, making it more magical and menacing in a local setting at Alderley Edge. Two children have an adventure but one of them has Williams Syndrome, a condition my grand-daughter has. I wanted to bring a greater understanding of this to readers plus letting them enjoy the story of a lonely boy who at last finds a friend.'

'My new book will be published on November 15th and is available for pre-order on Amazon. It’s published by Tiny Tree Books, an imprint of Matthew James Publishing and is written for children 7 – 11 years. I’ll be delighted if it can feature on your online subscribers showcase and I am a subscriber (details below). It will also be available in bookshops and on the publishers website: https://tinytreebooks.com/product/star-of-wonder-jenny-cooke/'

'My most well known book was The Cross Behind Bars, a bestseller and published in 1983 and in print for 18 years. Since then I’ve written 5 more non-fiction books, had a ‘writing desert’ for 15 years and now begun writing fiction. I also write for a local magazine from INSIDE PUBLICATIONS Group, available on-line too. They will feature my book in the December edition and I’m also reading from it on Radio Stoke on Nov 16th at 3:40pm.'
