At the age of five she remembered demanding her mother to sit for a chat! From that conversation, her mother learnt of her love for nursing. At nineteen her dream came true, when, she emigrated to Britain to study nursing.

At the age of five she remembered demanding her mother to sit for a chat! From that conversation, her mother learnt of her love for nursing. At nineteen her dream came true, when, she emigrated to Britain to study nursing. Once qualified, she worked in hospitals around the country and in London including The Lord Mayor Trelor, in Hampshire; Northwick Park and Kings College in London. Her professional post was Nursing Sister/Site Manager at Edgware and Barnet NHS Trust. She found Nursing enjoyable and most rewarding indeed.

‘Writing” ... Another passion! Although this is her first book, it is not her first publication. Articles, letters and other items, she wrote – were published in The Nursing Times, Saga and reader’s Digest and in the national press.

Cynthia hopes the book will provide all of her readers with joy and happiness, and some escapism from this 21st Century’s very trying and turbulent times.
