Your Writing Coach

The best time to read Jurgen Wolff’s book is just as you are considering a writing career. He starts by showing how to overcome the doubts and fears that assail many of us when we start, and goes on to help you decide which genre would be most suitable for your own individual talents.

At the end of the book, comes advice you will need much later about how to market yourself and your work and to deal with literary agents and publishers.

In between, he teaches the wrinkles that can give your work a lift. He shows, for example, how to structure your fiction to take maximum advantage of your readers’ natural curiosity, and he gives a ten-point checklist for being sure that you ‘show not tell’.

So right through your career, from early ambitions to success as a published novelist, here is a book that will always be of help.
