WM subscriber Jonathan Pinnock has been longlisted for The Guardian's Not the Booker prize ...
Mrs Darcy versus the Aliens, by WM subscriber Jonathan Pinnock, is on the longlist for The Guardian's Not the Booker prize.

Jonathan features in the Members' News section of this month's edition of Writers' News, talking about Mrs Darcy's path to publication. The book will be launched by new sci-fi imprint Proxima at the Brighton FantasyCon at the end of September.

The Guardian's Not the Booker prize is given annually to the best book, nominated by readers, to be published that year, whether it has made the Man Booker longlist or not. Voting for the shortlist closes next Wednesday, and members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite book on the longlist by posting a 150-word review on the website.

The overall winner gets a Guardian mug.
