Wrecking Ball Press is inviting short stories and poems about toads for an illustrated collection of children's stories
The collection is inspired by the Larkin Toads, which appeared in Hull five years ago.
Writers are asked to select one of the 40 toad characters and write about their adventures. Submissions for Toad Tales should be aimed at children aged 5-10, and no longer than 750 words. Writers may send up to five entries.
Accepted writers will receive two copies of the anthology.
The closing date is 15 June.
