Writing for children submissions: David Fickling Books

The children's publisher is running the Master of the Inkpot competition as a window for submissions in May
Unsolicited submissions of picture books and chapter books for early readers, young adults or even adults will be accepted between 5 and 19 May.
All entries will be seriously considered for publication. Samples from the top five submissions and information about the authors will be featured on the website, and one winner will be invited to a meeting at David Fickling Books to discuss their work.
Writers may submit only one entry.
In the meantime, Writing Magazine is excited about paying a visit to the offices of David Fickling Books tomorrow so that you can read about what life is really like in a children's publishing company in the July issue!
