There's a week left to enter the writing competition in aid of wounded servicemen and women
The fiction, memoir and poetry contest offers a prize pot of £400. There is an open theme for this competition, and a word count of up to 400 words. The entry fee is £4.50.
The Words for the Wounded Writing Prize is also running the Independent Author Book Award for memoir or fiction self-published within the last four years. The prize for this is a professional press release written by Palamedes PR. The entry fee for this is £12.50.
The closing date for both is 11 March.
• Words for the Wounded will be running a fundraising Litfest in High Wycombe on 18 April, which will include an appearance by Katie Fforde.
