Enter poetry and essays for the competition celebrating the lives and works of the great Romantic poets
There are two categories to enter:
• Poetry, up to 30 lines, on the theme 'To a Friend'. This year's poetry contest celebrates the 200th anniversary of the publication of John Keats' first poetry anthology.
• Essays up to 3,000 words on any aspect of the lives and works of Keats, Shelley and their circle.
The winners will share a prize fund of £4,000.
Entry is free. All entries must be original and unpublished.
The closing date to enter the Keats-Shelley Prize 2016-2017 is 15 January.
